Bath BID has been awarded an Industry Standard Accreditation from British BIDs, the professional industry body focused entirely on Business Improvement Districts.
The successful endorsement underlines the quality of what the Bath BID is delivering in the city, and serves to illustrate how the BID is operating in a way that stakeholders would expect.
The British BIDs accreditation process provides an assessment of management and supervisory systems, and represents the industry standard to measure a BID’s quality management systems.
By achieving accreditation, Bath BID stakeholders can be satisfied that the BID is well managed, has strong governance arrangements in place and that it complies with the Legislation and Regulations which govern it.
Commenting on the achievement, Andrew Cooper, Chief Executive of the Bath BID said “We are delighted to have secured this status.
“The Bath BID has strived to achieve the highest standards, and the success in awards such as the Proud Projects Awards and Bath Chronicle Business Awards, along with key other accreditations such as Purple Flag shows both the high levels of achievement that have been reached, and the value the Business Improvement District brings to the city of Bath.
“Perhaps more than any other award, the British BIDs accolade recognises the excellent management systems and back office work that is put in by the BID team.
“This effort and the level of management enable the BID to deliver real value and innovative solutions that truly support the levy payers and the wider Bath community.”
