Bath & North East Somerset Council is giving people across the local area the chance to ask questions directly to the Council Leader, Cllr Paul Crossley.
The “Ask the Leader” section of the Council’s website (www.bathnes.gov.uk/ask-leader) enables members of the public to ask the Council Leader a question about any Council services or any new Council initiatives which could be introduced.
Questions can be asked online using an online form which can be accessed on the Council’s website. These question forms will be checked regularly and answered by the Leader with responses posted on the website and a direct email reply to the person who asked the question.
Cllr Paul Crossley (Lib-Dem, Southdown), Leader of the Council said: “Our intention is that by communicating openly and directly with people through the Ask the Leader scheme, members of the public will get a better understanding of Bath & North East Somerset Council as a whole.
“It will also help us to gain a greater appreciation of the opinions of the public and to be aware of any questions or issues arising, so that we can improve the services we provide.”
Questions and answers from “Ask the Leader” events held at recent public meetings across Bath and North East Somerset have also been posted on the website.
The webpage also features a video where the Leader discusses some of the Council’s key achievements and challenges ahead.
