‘Cook and Eat’, a new, free cookery course for people over 55 years of age, is starting later this month and will give locals the skills to make delicious and nutritious dishes.
The course starts on 28th April in Midsomer Norton and is run by Age UK B&NES.
At the end of each session, those taking part will share eat the dishes they have made together.
Whether you’re a skilled cook whose nutritional knowledge could do with a brush-up, or you don’t know how to turn the cooker on, the course can help.
It’s led by a qualified and experienced Community Learning Tutor and all ingredients and equipment will be provided.
The course takes place on Tuesday afternoons from 2 – 5.30pm, on April 28th, May 5th, 19th and 26th, June 2nd and 9th, at the Masonic Hall, Redfield Road, Midsomer Norton BA3 2JN.
You need to register in advance – call Ketyn on 01225 484510/466135 or email [email protected].
