Over 60 children accompanied by parents and friends turned up to the launch of The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in Bath at the weekend.
The atmosphere was electric with lots of excited faces turning up in anticipation of not knowing what the day had in store for them.
The children were split into age groups and got to sample classes in PQA’s core modules; comedy and drama, musical theatre and film and television, whilst the parents had the opportunity to take a peek at their children in action during classes.
Lucy Plant, Principal of PQA Bath said: “I am delighted to provide young people with such a fantastic performing arts experience, students will learn valuable skills for everyday life and not just the performing arts.
“I am so excited to see what the future brings and want to thank everyone for their support!”
PQA Bath is enrolling now, with classes running on Saturdays from 9.45-13.00.
