All three emergency services were involved in rescuing an injured woman from a bridge pontoon on the River Avon after she fell in the early hours of Friday morning.
Fire crews joined the police and ambulance service at the scene where the woman had fallen several metres from the bridge onto a concrete pontoon below in Green Park Road.
When crews arrived the lady was being cared for by police officers and paramedics, however they were unable to move her to safety.
Firefighters used ladders to access the pontoon and then worked to move the woman into a stretcher.
The stretcher was attached to safety lines and lifted back up to the bridge.
The woman had suffered a number of injuries and was taken to hospital.
